Welcome to the Shawnee Mission South Girls Tennis Page! The girls tennis team competes at the 6A level in Kansas. The season runs from the middle of August through the second week of October. The home tennis court of the Raiders is located at the Indian Creek Tennis Complex at 103rd and Marty St. Most matches start at 3 PM during the week. The team competes in Duals, Quads, and all-day Tournaments throughout the season. The team competes as the member of the Sunflower League.

Attention Raider Athletes: A Pre-Participation Physical Evaluation form must be on file in the athletic office before a student may tryout for any KSHSAA sport. Senior Shawnee Mission South tennis player, Mariana Ochoa-Guerra signed her letter of intent to attend Southwestern College in the fall and play tennis. Southwestern College is located in Winfield, KS and competes at the NAIA level as a member of the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference. At South, Mariana was a 2-time state qualifier in singles.
Senior Mariana Ochoa finishes her high school tennis career with a 12th place finish at state.
