Welcome to the Shawnee Mission South Boys Tennis Page!  The boys tennis team competes at the 6A level in Kansas.  The season runs from the end of February through the middle of May.  The home tennis court of the Raiders is located at the Indian Creek Tennis Complex at 103rd and Marty St.  Most matches start at 3 PM during the week.  The team competes in Duals, Quads, and all-day Tournaments throughout the season.  The team competes as the member of the Sunflower League.

Spring Sports Begin Monday, March 1

Baseball, Boys’ Golf, Girls’ Soccer, Softball, Girls’ Swim & Dive, Boys’ Tennis, and Track and Field begin practices and try outs on Monday, March 1st. Senior Spotlight- Ryan Gatti

Ryan has been on the varsity tennis team all 4 years of high school. He is focused, committed, and reliable. Next year, Ryan plans on attending The University of Kansas and major in Strategic Communication. We wish you luck as you move forward in this next chapter of your life.

Senior Spotlight- Mac Wissel

Mac has been on the tennis team for 3 years. He is coachable, considerate, and committed. Mac represented the boys tennis team and was president of Shawnee Missions South Athletic Council for the 2019-2020 school year. Next year, Mac plans on attending DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana. We wish you luck as you move forward in this

David has been on the varsity tennis team all 4 years of high school. He is competitive, motivated, and disciplined. Next year, David plans on attending The University of Kansas.
